This is truly a dream hunt. Mick runs a first class operation. All his guides are outstanding; the food is great; the accommodations are very good. We saw plenty of elk during our hunt with a good portion of them being bulls. I highly recommend this hunt and look forward to doing it again in the near future.

My first trip to the Gila was a disaster. An archery bow hunt gone south is the short version. I subsequently did my homework and ended up hunting with Mick. Over the past eight years, I have taken two P&Y bulls with a recurve bow, and have had many additional shot opportunities. Mick runs an excellent operation and has excellent animals and fair chase hunts. Many of the hunters and guides have become friends as repeat business seems to be the rule. Mick Chapel's operation is simply the best. Bar none!
